I’ve found that many of the blogs I enjoy reading share more everyday life posts than I normally do. Today I thought I’d try that, too. This weekend was incredibly hyggelig. The temperature dropped a bit, making it officially feel like fall. I worked all day Saturday then went out to dinner with my sisters and Nicolas at Ruby Tuesday’s. They have the best pumpkin cheesecake! This morning I went to Lowes with my dad, and we picked out some beautiful fall flowers for the outside of the house. I was so excited to see all the pumpkins and Halloween decor! We also picked up some homemade donuts to take home for (a very late) breakfast. Nicolas and I got memberships to the gym when we moved to the states but had yet to go… So today we decided to finally try it out (after eating several donuts hehehe.) It was actually not that bad, and I felt great afterward. Working out always boosts my mood and helps my anxiety! This evening I was very excited to throw on my new, cozy fall sweater and walk to a fall festival in our neighborhood. It was just me and Nicolas, and we had a nice time. Sunday is the only day of the week both of us have free, so I always make it top priority to spend as much time with him as I can. 🙂
How did you spend the first day of fall? Have a great week!
Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend. I went to a fundraiser soup and pudding lunch Saturday and a drive around taking in the beautiful views.
It was a wonderful weekend!

And good job on the fall flowers. : )
Cozy fall weekends are my favorite! And donuts (like Paris) are always a good idea!

P.S. -Thank you for the incredibly sweet comment on my “Fashion Friday” post. I have loved White House Black Market since I started wearing their clothes when I was 20. They are classy and always fit perfectly.
Aww it looks like you had such a lovely weekend!
Beautiful Madison, especially the photo of Flynn and Nicolas. I have fallen behind in blogging and visiting, apologies….school is keeping me really busy. Hope you have a lovely week ahead. smiles
