Helloooo, everyone and happy Sunday! This past weekend here in Copenhagen was so wonderful. I know it is not technically summer yet, but it certainly felt like it. It was warm and sunny and everyone was outside enjoying themselves – including me!
The weekend began with breakfast on the balcony consisting of organic berry muffins from Emmerys, fresh fruit, and orange-carrot juice. I absolutely love to take some time in the morning to sit down, relax, and eat a nice breakfast. It just makes me so happy.
We also went for a long walk around the city and did a little shopping. I was so excited not to have to wear a jacket! My go-to summer outfit is definitely a romper. I have quite a few, but this one from American Eagle is my favorite. I also got the BEST lemonade ever from Lagkagehuset (translated to The Layer Cake House). It was so refreshing with lots of mint and a little sugar! It was literally summer in a glass.
Nicolas got me some beautiful, summery flowers. I pointed to them and said, “Ohhh, those are so pretty!” I turned my back for a second, and he was already buying them for me. 🙂 Copenhagen has so many places to buy fresh flowers this time of year, and I am more than happy to take advantage of it!
Hope you enjoyed today’s sweet and simple post! Have a great week!
