It has been two weeks since I started my healthy hair journey! If you want to read about why I decided to go sulfate- and silicone-free, check out this post. It actually wasn’t as scary as I had anticipated. My hair still looks presentable, and I think a lot of that has to do with the products I am using.
This past Sunday I decided that I wanted to whip up some healthy food to eat throughout the week. I want to kick off the new year by eating less junk food, and I have found that meal prepping certainly helps. So I spent around two hours in the kitchen making a delicious cucumber, tomato, chickpea salad for lunches and banana bread for breakfasts and snacks!
2018 is quickly becoming a year of change for me, and it is only January 8th! If you missed my 2018 Beauty Challenge post, it was all about my ‘no-buy’ plan to simplify my makeup, skincare, and hair care. Be sure to read it if you haven’t already! My goal is to use up every single beauty product I have before purchasing new. However, I cheated already.
I can’t believe Christmas has come and gone already. I do love the week in-between Christmas and New Years, though. 🙂 Staying in pajamas and watching movies is positively the best! Anyways, I just wanted to share a short and sweet post with you all.
