It feels so good to be writing about fashion again! In today’s post, I’m sharing pieces I’ve truly loved wearing this summer as well as some items I’ll be wearing as we transition into fall. Linen is one of my favorite materials ever. It is breathable, durable, and natural. I also love how effortless it looks! Here are a few ways I’ve incorporated linen into my wardrobe.
Outfit No. 1
linen lounge dress // Shop Madison Marie (my online store!)
sandals // Birkenstock
sunhat // American Eagle (unavailable but linked similar, smaller style)
In case you missed it, Nicolas and I launched an online store during the shutdown this spring. It is a curated collection of dresses, pajamas, and makeup that can also be found at our retail location – Madison Marie Bridal. One of the designers we carry is Sleeper – a high fashion loungewear brand based in Ukraine. This dress is from that collection and has been loved by both myself and our customers. It is versatile, comfortable, and handmade of 100% linen. (I also have it in navy!) I wear it inside as loungewear, with a belt and heels to work, on top of my swimsuit as a coverup … the possibilities are endless! I love pairing it with these Birkenstock sandals which are truly the ONLY shoes I wore this summer.
Outfit No. 2
linen shirt // Uniqlo
a-line skirt // Uniqlo
sunglasses // Elie Tahari
This outfit combination is something I wear to work quite often. A crisp shirt paired with an a-line skirt never fails! Uniqlo offers such high-quality pieces and is easily one of my very favorite places to shop. I can easily wear both this shirt and skirt all year long, and that is something I look for when I add things into my wardrobe.
Outfit No. 3
striped top // Gap
linen blend pants // Uniqlo
red flats // Old Navy
customized necklace // oNecklace (gifted)
This outfit gives me classic French girl vibes with the stripes and a fun pop of red. I feel so comfortable and confident while wearing simple pieces like these! You also might’ve noticed the necklace I’m wearing in this post. I’ve worked with oNecklace before (posts linked here and here) and really enjoyed it so when they reached out to me again, I was excited! I was able to select and customize a piece of jewelry on their site, and I chose the coordinates and compass necklace. The map coordinates on my necklace represent the park that Nicolas and I got engaged at in Paris! You can see photos and read our engagement story here. 🙂 I really love wearing this necklace because it reminds me of that special day!
What items did you wear the most this summer? Let me know in the comments below! Thank you to oNecklace for another fun collaboration.
