I am sure many of you know that I love, love, love 1950’s and 1960’s style and even carry vintage-inspired clothing lines in my boutique (Madison Marie Bridal.) Every now and then I get extremely lucky and find a true vintage dress like the one featured in today’s outfit. This dress is in pristine condition and was made in the 1960’s. I love it so much. I picked it up from a lovely online boutique that specializes in vintage clothing. These pink ballet flats with white pearls match the dress perfectly! You might remember this gingham trench coat from some of my outfits last fall. It is still one of my favorite coats, and I wear it all the time!
Wearing a vintage dress is so special. Thinking about the woman that owned the dress before me and imagining where she wore it … Isn’t it so interesting? Have you ever shopped vintage before? Do you have any special pieces of pre-owned clothing? Let me know in the comments below!
xx, Madison

What a lovely dress, smiles. I like vintage, and usually buy skirts (not that I wear them, but one never knows, smiles).
What a beautiful outfit you were wearing. The ballet pumps were adorable, the stunning embellishment was a joy. I love the style but feel a little too old to carry it off.
