If you don’t watch Mad Men, you might not understand my inspiration for this post. (Also if you haven’t watched Mad Men, please go watch the entire show right now because it is an absolute work of art and will forever be my favorite show.) One of my favorite style icons is Megan because she combines French-chic with fun 1960’s fashion. That is exactly what I was going for with this outfit. 🙂 This shift dress is so 60’s-esque. I wore it all summer because it is sleeveless so I simply layered it with a long sleeve black t-shirt for some added warmth. I really enjoy taking my favorite pieces and finding new ways to wear them. My shawl is actually a knit blanket scarf that Nicolas’s brother gave me years ago. I love how versatile it is, and it pairs perfectly with my beret.
What is your favorite show of all time? I need something to watch when Mad Men is over … I only have three episodes left! I’m definitely contemplating The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (for obvious reasons.)
Oh wow, Madison, very Parisian, smiles. I loved Mad Men-probably because I am nearly old enough to remember, LOL.
I really don’t have any favorite shows. I guess though, if I had to pick it would be Downton Abbey. Right now, I am watching the silly shows on Hallmark. smiles
Merry Christmas, smiles.
Looking great as ever! Mad Men is so brilliant! Definitely my favourite show and it will leave a huge gap when you complete it. I’ve plugged the gap with The Crown – the outfits aren’t as cute but it’s a good watch.
Such a cute outfit. Very Mad Men. Maisel is wonderful and their wardrobe is absolutely amazing, you’ll completely swoon for every single thing Midge wears. (If you pick it as your next show.)
What a darling outfit! I love the way the beret looks on you.
