Yay! Only 10 days until Christmas! If you missed yesterday’s post which was a super yummy recipe, catch up after you read this post! Also, don’t forget to check out my mom’s blog because she is celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas with me! Day 3 is all about Christmas markets, as Nicolas and I have already visited 3. I love love love the Christmas markets in Copenhagen. Here’s why. 🙂
1. The Yummy Food and Hot Beverages
There is nothing better than walking through a Christmas market on a chilly December night with a cup of hot cocoa or gløgg (Danish mulled wine.) Nicolas and I always love to get some cinnamon-roasted almonds, too. Many food stands also offer different types of comfort food such as soups, fish fry, or sausages. If you visit a Christmas market, make sure you are hungry!
2. Christmas Trees EVERYWHERE
I’m serious. There are Christmas trees everywhere you look. Some are beautifully lit up with lights and covered in hand-made ornaments. Others are bare, waiting to be purchased and taken home to be decorated.
3. Homemade Gifts and Traditional Decorations
The Christmas markets are also a great place to do some holiday shopping or to pick up a few festive things to decorate your home with. I always love seeing these little elves, which are very traditional here in Denmark. Nicolas’s mom has some, and she even gifted my mom one this year! Aren’t they the cutest?

Can any of you relate?! Tell me I’m not the only one who looks like a literal marshmallow this time of year. Haha (P.S. A Christmas Story is one of my all time favorite movies.) I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I am looking forward to wrap some presents tonight and watch a Christmas movie!

Today’s Yankee Candle is Home For The Holidays. I was SO excited to receive this candle because it is one my mom always burns at home. It is one of my favorites, smelling of fresh pine, snowberries, cinnamon, and spice. Today’s tea is Uplicious! It’s a blend of matcha, lemongrass, and lemon verbena. I’m looking forward to tasting it because I haven’t tried matcha yet but have been wanting to for a long time!

Just visited your blog! Best of luck with your fresh start 🙂 Thanks for reading!
It looks so beautiful in there! I’m so happy that our closest Christmas market is just right next to our bus stop from the city, so it’s super easy to get some food from there. Market foods are just so good! And oh, I look like a marshmallow too. It’s so cozy that way!
