A Christmas Tea Party Bridal Shower // Wedding Update No. 8

Welcome to Day 2 of my 12 Days of Christmas! In case you missed it, yesterday’s post was all about my bridal shower outfit. Today is all about the actual bridal shower! My mom and sisters planned the loveliest Christmas tea party in a beautiful venue overlooking the lake. It was perfect!

The shower was cozy and intimate, making it easy for me to visit with everyone! It was great to have so many of my closest friends and family in one place.

We were served the loveliest three-course lunch which consisted of a fresh salad, three mini sandwiches, Italian wedding soup, and the cutest Christmas petit fours! Everything was delicious.

My mom and sisters planned two fun games to play …

and then Nicolas stopped by!

Nicolas opened gifts with me, and we were incredibly overwhelmed with how thoughtful everyone was! Each present we received was so special and heartfelt. I am so grateful!

Going along with the Christmas theme, the favors were yummy hot chocolate …

and these AMAZING hot chocolate cake pops! My incredibly talented cousin Maria made them. She has her own blog, and I definitely recommend checking it out. Maria shares the yummiest recipes ever (including these holiday spice cake pops!)

I love this photo of me and my wonderful grandma. Isn’t she beautiful? She has been my biggest supporter my entire life. She always tells Nicolas, “The moment I met you, I just knew! I knew you would be successful and be the right guy for Madison!” She was right. 🙂

I cannot say thank you enough to my sisters and my mom for the most special day. It was everything I would have hoped it would be and more!

Also, a big thank you to my cousin Hope (on the right in the photo below) who gave me the most wonderful gift of photographing the shower. She captured so many moments, and I will treasure these photos forever! If you live in the area, be sure to book her for your special occasion. Hope is so talented!

I can’t believe it is only 57 days until our wedding! Nicolas and I are SO excited. 🙂
