My Favorite Greek Foods

After a crazy few weeks, things have settled down, and I am back to regular blogging. 🙂 I have so much to share from my travels to Greece and Italy! Today’s post is all about food – more specifically GREEK food. We stayed on the island of Corfu, and it was so beautiful. I loved every single meal I ate while vacationing there, but Continue Reading

Skiing in Sweden and Norway

Life is so busy sometimes, and as I was going through my photos, I realized I never posted about our skiing trip back in February. Better late than never I suppose. 🙂 This was my second skiing vacation with Nicolas and his family, and I had an amazing time. To my surprise, I actually Continue Reading

FC Barcelona Game at Camp Nou

Hi! Sorry for my lack of posts recently. I have been super busy taking a Danish language course and working on an exciting new project that I will soon be able to share with all of you. 🙂

In the meantime, I am wrapping up our Spain vacation with some photos from my first FC Barcelona football game! Nicolas’s life partially revolves around this team so naturally, I have come to love it myself! It was on his bucket list to take me to a game so I could experience the atmosphere and see his favorite players in person Continue Reading

Visiting the Sagrada FamĂlia

Hello! Hi! Hope you all are well. I am still blogging about our trip to Barcelona because we simply took too many photos and experienced so many things!

Today is all about a very special experience Nicolas and I shared – visiting the BasĂlica de la Sagrada FamĂlia. If you are unaware of this incredibly breathtaking temple and its history, I definitely suggest reading up on it. It has such an amazing story. The famous artist Antoni GaudĂ took over the project in 1883 and put his entire heart and soul into it until his death in 1926. Since then, many others have continued to oversee the construction of Sagrada FamĂlia. However, the project still remains unfinished! Continue Reading

Churros and Coffee in Barcelona

Happy Tuesday! I am finally home safe and sound after another week of traveling and am anxious to share my newest experiences with you 🙂 This post is the continuation of my last post when Nicolas and I visited Barcelona. If you missed it, you can read it here and see what we did during our first morning in this beautiful city! https://breakfastatmadisons.com/a-day-in-barcelona

After a much needed afternoon nap, Nicolas and I headed out to further explore the city. Barcelona is famous for its churros, so we were very determined to try some! We ended up at Churreria Laietana. It was one of the tiniest and coziest cafés I have ever been to. On TripAdvisor, it is rated #1 out of 176 cafés for coffee and tea in Barcelona as well as #8 out of 8,272 places to eat! We both agreed that the coffee was delicious and bold and the churros (freshly fried and doused in sugar) were amazing.
