Nicolas and I recently enjoyed a lovely brunch at Far’s Dreng (translated to daddy’s boy) here in Copenhagen! After hearing so much about this cafe, we decided it was time to give it a try. Far’s Dreng has been voted the city’s best cafe/ breakfast by two different organizations. The first location opened in 2015, and now a second one has opened not too far from where I live. The atmosphere was so relaxed and cozy!
We started with two cappuccinos and some freshly squeezed juice.
I am still loving my new watch from Henry London.* If you missed previous post all about it, you can check it out here. 🙂
Our food arrived quite quickly, and it was beautifully plated! I ordered a waffle with fresh berries and Nicolas ordered smørrebrød (Danish rye bread with toppings) and a big salad.
He later told me that he ordered two things because he knew I’d still be hungry after my waffle. He was right . . . I ended up eating over half the salad, too!
This was such a hyggeligt afternoon treat! Do you have a favorite food you love to eat for brunch? Let me know in the comments below! I personally love pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit, salmon, cheese plates . . . Ok, I love ALL brunch! Haha 🙂 Have a great day!

Mt favourite brunch is ham poached eggs and hollandaise sauce on toast. Your food looked delicious.

Damn, the food looks so yum. And how thoughtful of Nicolas to order something extra just for you. I love brunch as well and it’s so hard to pick a favourite meal. I’m a sucker for eggs benedict though, fluffy pancakes too! xx

OMG looks so good! Ok, so it’s not exactly mac & cheese and Oreos but it will do! : ) I adore brunch so much! My favorite things are blueberry pancakes, waffles, croissants, and any kind of quiche. So yummy! This place looks amazing. Another reason I would love to visit Denmark one day!
Hahaha! Yes, brunch is the best. Do you have any favorite quiche combinations? I usually make bacon, spinach, tomato! I am certain you would LOVE Denmark if you visit someday. <3
