Recently I had an amazing opportunity to attend an event hosted by Hotel Chocolat and Miild Makeup. My sweet friend Helen came with me, and it was honestly the best night ever! We ate way too much chocolate and got to try so many new makeup products. We were in HEAVEN.
Denmark
HAPPY EASTER! Today has been such a wonderful day. I have really enjoyed celebrating my first Easter here in Denmark at Nicolas’ family’s beach house. I am sharing a few of my favourite photos, combining new Danish traditions with my own American ones. 🙂
Nicolas’s mom made the beach house so incredibly cozy and festive for the Easter holiday! This is her Easter Tree decorated with the traditional Royal Copenhagen
Today was a perfect Sunday! The weather was amazing so Nicolas and I decided to take a walk and have a picnic at one of my favorite spots in Copenhagen. There is a little place called Langelinie Park near the Little Mermaid statue. It is so charming with its cozy benches and beautiful greenery. The cherry trees are currently blossoming in gorgeous shades of pink! I (unintentionally) wore
Copenhagen is one of the coziest cities ever so you can imagine just how perfect it is at Christmastime. I was lucky enough to be able to experience some Danish Christmas traditions and see Copenhagen beautifully decorated for the holiday season before coming home for Christmas. I made a list of the traditions, places, and treats I love the most. 🙂
1. Christmas Markets
I am pretty sure Nicolas and I visited a total of FIVE Christmas markets in Copenhagen. They are everywhere, and I cannot begin to describe how festive and unique each and every one was. There were so many vendors, yummy treats, decorations, and music. SO cozy.
Decorating is one of my very favorite things to do – especially for Christmas. I love making everything festive and cozy. With the help of both our sweet moms and a few shopping trips to some cute stores in Copenhagen, Nicolas and I decorated his apartment for Christmas. I love all the cute little elves, red and gold accents, and vintage-looking pieces. 🙂 I was so, so happy with how it turned out!
