Our Honeymoon to Atlantis Paradise Island

I am back! Thank you all so much for the kind words and congratulations on my previous post. I am excited to share our wedding photos soon! Nicolas and I just enjoyed a wonderful honeymoon at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. It was a blissful eight days, and I am writing this post so we can both remember it forever!

The first thing we did when we arrived at the resort was head to the aquarium! There are several aquariums hidden all over Atlantis. 🙂

Our room was clean, cozy, and had a beautiful view of the resort and the Rapids River which is where we spent many of our days!

Atlantis has many restaurants and snack bars. We really enjoyed the ice cream at Sun & Ice which is a Bahamian ice cream parlor that uses fresh ingredients from the island to make all of their treats.

We ate way too much pasta at Carmine’s  . . .

and enjoyed some yummy island food like fish tacos and conch fritters at Frankie Gone Banannas.

However, my favorite night was when Nicolas and I stayed in and ordered room service. There is nothing better than eating pasta, quesadillas, and chicken fingers in your pajamas while watching The Bachelor. Nicolas is most definitely my soulmate because he enjoyed it (almost) as much as I did. 🙂

We went swimming every single day. The weather was perfect, and the beaches were beautiful.

Nicolas and I also took a nap every single afternoon before getting ready for dinner. (It was blissful.) We saw some gorgeous sunsets, walked along the beach, went to the casino, and just enjoyed exploring the resort!

We were sad to leave but so excited to get back to Pennsylvania and start our life together as Mr. and Mrs. There are so many wonderful things happening in the near future, and Nicolas and I are just so happy!

This was our second time at Atlantis. We visited last year while on a cruise! You can check out that post here. 🙂 I would recommend going for a day to see the resort and enjoy the water park if you ever find yourself in Nassau. Nicolas and I are thankful we had the opportunity to go again. <3 Have a great day!

Madison

Your photos are gorgeous! This looks idyllic! So lovely and relaxing. We were at Atlantis once a few years ago, as part of a cruise. We were just there for the day and have always wanted to go back. The food and scenery look amazing! Just what you guys needed to unwind and recharge : )
