Apple Oatmeal Muffins // Easy and Healthy

I really enjoy making some healthy snacks at the beginning of the week. This way I’m never searching for something to eat or reaching for junk food when things get busy. These muffins were perfect. They made a great grab-and-go breakfast or afternoon snack. My whole family loved them!

I used this recipe I found on Pinterest. It is actually a Weight Watchers recipe, and I’m not sure how that all works, but they were delicious. I did have to add a bit more milk than the recipe called for, and it didn’t say when to add the apples, so I just folded them in at the end! Otherwise, it is an easy recipe to follow, and you can mix everything up in one bowl.

What are your favorite healthy snacks? I’m always searching for new recipes! Let me know in the comments below. 🙂 Have a great week!

Madison

Yum! I will save this for apple season. My in-laws own an apple orchard so we get tons of free apples in the fall. We’re so spoiled I know, but I can’t bring myself to buy apples. These muffins look great though!

Your muffins look great, Madison. You are smart to make healthy things available for snacking. I try to keep fruit and nuts on the counter to grab when needed. I also make a peanut, raisin and chocolate chip mixture in a canister for snaking. ♥

They look delicious, we tend to snack on fruit and nuts. There is a good recipe on the British heart foundation website for banana bread using yoghurt, it is delicious.

These look so delicious! It’s definitely a good idea to make them at the start of the week as a healthy snack. However, I know they’ll all be gone before mid-week haha! I’ll check out the recipe, apple and oatmeal sounds like a great combination!

Those look amazing! I love muffin recipes.

One of my favorite healthy recipes to make as a snack is Trisha Yearwood’s Power Balls. They have peanut butter, chocolate chips, oatmeal, honey, wheat germ, sunflower seeds and dried cranberries. It’s pretty easy to make and great for mornings when you’re running out the door and don’t have time to eat a big breakfast!

I never snack healthy and always was confused how do people even manage with snacking healthy? But now I figure how… I am gonna make them this weekend so I stop eating all the junk I eat in the name of snacks! Must say, they look absolutely tempting and yummy!
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!
