A Birthday Picnic // En Fødselsdags Skovtur

Last week, Nicolas turned 23. I spent hours upon hours thinking about the perfect way to celebrate and came up with NOTHING. My perfectionism gets the best of me sometimes. The night before his birthday, I was in Flying Tiger (one of the cutest little shops in Denmark) buying birthday candles and ran into a beautiful display of picnic supplies! So of course I went all in and bought everything for the perfect picnic in the park. 🙂

We had pizza from our favorite shop, lemonade, and the best little Christianshavn cakes from Lagkagehuset. The weather was beautiful and it was the coziest time!

Now I am in the U.S. for two months working as a makeup artist and spending time with my family! Nicolas will be joining me in 2 weeks after he finishes up school exams. I miss him so much, but I am so happy we got to spend his birthday together before I left. I am even more happy that he was born 23 years ago. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by, and have a great week!
