Friday Favorites // No. 1

Happy Friday, everyone! Today is my first Friday Favorites post where I will be sharing a handful of things I have really been enjoying over the past week. I am still recovering from a pretty bad cold, so you will see how my favorites correspond to that! Enjoy xx

1. Bobbi Brown Retouching Wand

This is a new product from my favorite makeup brand – Bobbi Brown. I LOVE THIS. Since I have been feeling under the weather, this is honestly the only makeup I have been wearing. It is exactly what it claims to be – a magical retouching wand for your face. You can use it as a foundation, concealer, or touch-up stick. I have been using it after moisturizing to “spot treat”. I applied it lightly under my eyes to brighten and around my nose to combat redness. The formula blends into your skin seamlessly, and I don’t even need to set it with powder. I am in the shade Porcelain. It looks just like my skin but better. Thank you, Bobbi!

2. Smith’s Rosebud Salve

This has been a favorite product of mine for awhile now, but I have been using it so much recently. It is an all-purpose salve that heals dry, cracked skin. I apply this to my lips as a lip balm, on my knuckles that are oh so dry from incessant hand washing, my cuticles, and the irritated skin around my nose for overnight healing. It is such a versatile product! Keep in mind to make sure your hands are clean before dipping in to this product since there is no applicator to prevent the spread of bacteria.

3. Farmhouse Fresh Citrine Beach Body Milk

This is another favorite brand of mine. This body milk has a wonderful lime and coconut scent which reminds me of the beach, and the pretty packaging brightens up my makeup table. I apply this to my hands, elbows, chest, and feet. This lotion is so good at preventing and healing dry skin. It is also 96% natural!

4. Bigelow Lemon Ginger Herbal Tea

This is one of my favorite teas EVER, and I have been drinking it constantly this past week. The lemon ginger flavor is soothing for both the throat and stomach. This tea also has probiotics which help support a healthy immune system. Since it does not contain caffeine, I am able to drink it any time of day. On regular days, I drink it plain. However, if you are sick and add a little bit of honey, it works wonders!

I hope you enjoyed my first Friday Favorites post. I wish you all a lovely weekend! I will be spending it relaxing with Nicolas and his family at the beach house before a few weeks filled with travel!

Looking forward to seeing where you go on your travels. Love the sound of the tea, I will check to see if it is available locally. Take care.
