YAY my first Christmas post!!! Although I’ve been in the Christmas spirit since the first of November, I think it is finally socially acceptable to upload a holiday themed post now. Last night, Nicolas and I had a “Present Wrapping Party”. My mom always made wrapping Christmas presents together so fun and cozy, so I wanted to carry on the tradition. I lit lots of candles, put on some Christmas music, and made hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream. ๐
Nicolas and I thought it would also be nice to give to those in need this year. Since I am from the tiniest town in Pennsylvania, I had never witnessed homelessness firsthand. Now living in a city, I see homeless men and women daily. Even if not life changing, doing something small for a few of these people seemed fitting. What we did was so simple – just made up gift bags filled with some essentials such as toothbrushes, baby wipes, deodorant, pens, and tissues. We also added some candy and a small Christmas card. Just an idea I saw online that I thought was worth sharing. ๐
I hope you are all enjoying this holiday season as much as I am! Stay tuned for more Christmas posts ๐

That is such a heart warming thing to do, I have been donating tins to the food banks but I certainly love your idea.
Thank you so much, I’m glad you liked it!

My dear Madison, what a precious post! I know many will be blessed by your love and kindness…and what an amazing example you are!

Wishing you a blessed and beautiful Christmas! Hugs! Stephanie-The Enchanting Rose
You are the sweetest thing!!! <3 xoxo
Oh this is all so lovely Madison. I can feel the cozy jump right off the screen. ๐
But to see that the true spirit of Christmas is in your heart – and that you’re both applying it out in the world…well that warms my heart more than anything. But it doesn’t surprise me as I cherish your sweet Mom and can tell the kind of person she is – and you are obviously so like her. God bless you both.
Merry Christmas!! Stay snuggly. xoxo
What a wonderful thing to do! After reading your post I am inspired to do something similar. It’s what the holidays are all about! : ) All your photos are so cozy and lovely. I love visiting your blog! โฅ I’m so jealous of the Christmas markets. They look magical! Happy Friday! xx
Hi Madison! Catching up on things around here. I love reading about your life over there. But more than what you are doing, I love reading about who you are! You have such a big heart and it comes out in your writing. I’m glad to hear you’ll be traveling home for the holidays (hey, isn’t there a song about that??) . Prayers for safe travels. Catch a hug from all of us in Eastern PA.
