A Cozy Danish Easter

HAPPY EASTER! Today has been such a wonderful day. I have really enjoyed celebrating my first Easter here in Denmark at Nicolas’ family’s beach house. I am sharing a few of my favourite photos, combining new Danish traditions with my own American ones. 🙂

Nicolas’s mom made the beach house so incredibly cozy and festive for the Easter holiday! This is her Easter Tree decorated with the traditional Royal Copenhagen eggs along with some chicks and bunnies. I love it so.

The Easter Bunny made an appearance early this morning, leaving small chocolates and eggs throughout the yard! This is a tradition that was familiar to me and still so so fun (and delicious).

I made the same bunny cake my mom always makes with Nicolas’ sweet little sister and her friend. We had so much fun baking and decorating it. 🙂

And this morning Nicolas and I headed to church. It was decorated beautifully with Easter flowers. I was also excited to be able to understand parts of the mass in Danish thanks to all my hard work and studying!

I hope you are all enjoying a lovely Easter Sunday with family and friends! Hope you enjoyed seeing little bits and pieces of my day. God PÃ¥ske (Happy Easter)!
